JOB ROLE: Support Worker

LOCATION: Burton-on-Trent

SALARY: £ £13.30* per hour

HOURS: 35 per week

We're delighted to announce the upcoming launch of a brand-new residential care home designed to support up to six adults with Learning Disabilities.

Opening in 2025, our new service will set a new benchmark for high-quality, person-centered care. Our mission is to create a warm, supportive environment where every individual is empowered to thrive, grow, and live a fulfilling life.

We're looking for compassionate, committed Support Workers to join our brand-new team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something truly special right from the start.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
