Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer – Llangunnor Community Council
Llangunnor Community Council is seeking a motivated and community-minded individual to take on the varied and rewarding role of Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
This part-time position (60 hours per month) offers flexible working, mainly from home, with a monthly evening meeting and occasional site visits or events within the community. The role combines administration, finance, and local engagement — ideal for someone who enjoys independent working and variety in their day-to-day tasks.
You'll manage the Council's business and finances, support meetings, liaise with councillors and local organisations, and ensure the smooth running of community projects and services. No prior council experience is required — training and support will be provided — but good organisational, communication and IT skills are essential.
Welsh language skills are an advantage but not essential. The role would equally suit an experienced clerk seeking additional hours or someone keen to develop new skills in local government.
Join us in helping to shape and support the local community of Llangunnor.
