Children's Residential Support Worker – Experienced in EBD Care
Location: Chipping, near Preston (commutable from Longridge, Ribchester, Clitheroe, Fulwood, Blackburn, and Garstang)
Salary Package: Up to £31,637 per year
- Basic Salary: £29,237 per year (includes £40 per sleep-in)
- Performance Bonus: Up to £2,400 per year
Shifts: 2 on, 4 off (includes paid sleep-ins)

What You'll Do
- Provide consistent emotional and behavioural support to young people in your care.
- Use your EBD experience to manage challenging situations calmly and positively.
- Encourage personal development, life skills, and independence.
- Work closely with education, social care, and healthcare professionals to deliver effective support plans.
- Maintain detailed records to safeguard and monitor each young person's progress.
What We're Looking For
- Essential: Previous experience supporting children or young people with EBD.
- Preferred: NVQ Level 4 in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or willingness to achieve this).
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required (company car provided during shifts).
- Eligibility: Right to work in the UK and residency for 3+ years (NVQ requirement).
- Personal Qualities: Empathy, patience, and resilience with a passion for helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
