Senior Fund Controller
Our client a leading Investment Management business is looking to hire a
Senior Fund Financial Controller
during an exciting growth period for the business.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in multi-fund accounting and a passion for building efficient, well-governed processes. You will play a key role in shaping the financial framework of our investment funds while supporting business growth and investor transparency.
Role duties
- Lead a team of fund finance professionals, fostering development, collaboration, and high performance.
- Manage accounting, reporting, and oversight for multiple fund structures, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Drive the onboarding and integration of new funds, supporting set-up, structuring, and operational readiness.
- Oversee financial controls, cash flow, capital movements, and liquidity planning.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial statements, investor reporting, and performance metrics.
- Partner with auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and legal teams to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting, and strengthen operational efficiency.
- Provide clear, actionable insights to senior leadership and investment committees to inform strategic decisions.
- Support investor relations teams by supplying reliable and transparent financial information.
Qualifications and Experience required
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with extensive fund finance experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of fund accounting, partnership structures, and investment lifecycle processes.
- Proven track record managing multi-fund operations and leading finance teams.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills, with experience in process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Strong focus on governance, risk management, and operational excellence.
