Fund Controller
. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to step into a broad, high-impact role with exposure to senior leadership, investors, and commercial decision-making.

The Role

As Fund Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day and strategic fund operations of a growing UK real estate portfolio. You'll take ownership of reporting, control, and liaising with external fund administrators and investors, while supporting the CFO and Head of Finance with wider portfolio oversight.

With a new accounting system being implemented, this role offers the chance to shape processes and take ownership of efficiencies as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial reporting and control for real estate investment funds
  • Manage relationships with outsourced administrators and auditors
  • Prepare LP reports and ensure compliance with LPAs and relevant fund structures
  • Support FX, cashflow, and capital call planning
  • Liaise with banks, investors, and internal stakeholders on fund performance
  • Assist with the roll-out of a new accounting platform
  • Provide timely insight to senior leadership across the fund portfolio

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 2+ years PQE
  • Experience in fund accounting, real estate, or private equity environments
  • Confident working directly with LPs, banks, and fund administrators
  • A natural problem-solver with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator, keen to contribute commercially as well as technically
  • Ambitious, proactive, and looking to grow with the business

  • £75,000 – £85,000 base salary (DOE)
