• Comprehensive Services: Our team provides a mix of Cost Management, Employer�s Agent, Fund Monitoring, and general commercial management for clients across both public and private sectors. Our work is broadly split 50/50 between pre and post-contract status, giving you exposure to all phases of project delivery.

Your Day-to-Day:

You don�t get to the Senior QS level without knowing the ins and outs of what the role entails, so we�ll keep it brief. At Walker Sime, you�ll be:

• Leading Project Delivery: Take charge of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they�re delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Managing Costs: Providing expert cost management services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while managing costs effectively across all project stages.
• Interacting with Clients: Building and maintaining strong relationships with both public and private sector clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring we exceed their expectations.
• Mentoring: Guiding and mentoring junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Collaborating: Working closely with your colleagues across our Liverpool and Manchester offices, contributing to the collective success of our team.

About You:

• Proven Expertise: Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a successful track record of managing projects, ideally within a consultancy setting.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various sectors within Real Estate such as museums, residential, life sciences, infrastructure, and more, with experience in different procurement routes and contract forms.
• Leadership Skills: A collaborative spirit with the ability to lead projects and guide teams towards successful outcomes.
• Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with membership in a relevant professional body (RICS or equivalent), is highly desirable.
