Head of Residential Department

Make your mark leading a respected residential legal team, with the autonomy to shape its future and the support to grow into a department head. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role with genuine progression, flexibility, and impact. You'll lead and develop our residential property offering, working closely with clients across Surrey, Hampshire, London and beyond. You'll be joining a trusted firm known for its personal approach and high-quality service, with much of our work coming from repeat clients and referrals.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgages
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, supporting their development
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a tailored and responsive service
  • Contributing to strategic decisions and helping shape the future of the department

We're Looking For

  • A qualified solicitor or legal executive with solid experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong leadership potential or proven team management experience
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach to legal practice
  • Experience using modern case management systems is desirable
