General Summary

Rochester is recruiting for a 3-month summer intern to design and develop Applications within the Qlik Sense Business Analytics platform. These Applications will be used by Rochester's Product & Technology Team to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations and analytics. Rochester is flexible to start and end dates.

Responsibilities

Understand the requirement for each Application based on user stories and dialog with users.Design, develop, and debug custom Applications using the Qlik Sense Business Analytics platform writing ETL scripts to transform and load data.Fully document ETL scripts for future maintenance and development.Explore Qlik Automation features and demonstrate to stakeholders how these could be used to further improve the efficiency of the business operations.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.Able to synthesize user input into a clear set of requirements – demonstratable through interview.Able to quickly start developing basic Applications in the Qlik environment – demonstratable through interview prework.
