Contracts Officer

We are looking for an individual who has excellent customer service skills to join the team for a period of 12 months.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will be responsible for planning, requesting, and approving appropriate transport services in response to referrals from Children and Young Peoples Services (CYPS), Adult and Health Services (AHS), and Neighbourhoods and Environment (NE). The role involves managing contracts safely and efficiently within the Conditions of Contract and allocated budgets, acting as a buyer for the County Council, and supporting the development of a modern, proactive procurement function. You will ensure value for money and make effective use of resources, with procurement directed towards delivering community benefits and the continuous improvement in service delivery.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will need:-
- NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a related subject such as IT, Business Administration or Public Transport or significant experience of working within a relevant role.
- Experience of dealing with members of the public
