The Role: Shape Our Future

As SBM, you'll be a vital member of the Leadership Team, ensuring the financial and operational stability of the school. Your forward-thinking expertise in finance, technology, and digitisation will be key to helping us achieve our vision of 'developing each of our children to become successful citizens in today and tomorrow's increasingly digital world.'

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Financial Strategy: Secure medium-to-longer-term financial sustainability. You will directly manage the budget, spending plan, and lead on securing external funding through grant applications and procurement.
• Operational Leadership: Line-manage the Site Manager, Administrative Assistant, and School Meals Supervisory Assistants, driving excellence across all non-teaching functions.
• Administration & HR: Oversee efficient online office procedures, ensure timely statutory reporting, and manage all essential HR paperwork and processes. We are a paper free office
• Premises & Safety: Collaborate on the maintenance and enhancement of school facilities, ensuring rigorous Health and Safety and Risk Management compliance.

What We're Looking For in You

We need a forward-thinking, approachable leader who can thrive in a busy environment and drive strategic change.

• Financial Strategist: You must possess a strong finance background with proven experience in proactive budget management, financial forecasting, and securing external funding bids.
• Technological Visionary: Demonstrable ability to leverage technology and digitization to streamline administrative systems, enhance efficiency, and support the school's overall digital strategy.
• Dynamic Leader & Manager: Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and prior experience in effectively managing, motivating, and developing a multidisciplinary team.
• Confident Communicator: Proven ability to successfully manage and nurture a wide range of stakeholder relationships (including Governors, staff, parents, and the local authority).
• Dedicated Professional: Exhibit a strong work ethic, exceptional discretion, and the ability to adapt quickly and strategically prioritise tasks in a demanding role.
• Values-Driven Colleague: A firm commitment to working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to wholeheartedly support our vision and positive school ethos.
• CSBM / DSBM or NVQ Level 4 Business Degree or equivalent related professional qualification or willingness to work towards the qualification alongside the job.
