AJ Exec has been retained to appoint a
Transformation Lead
to join a market-leading organisation operating at the very heart of the UK's digital infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with an accomplished CEO and executive team, shaping and executing strategy that impacts millions of users and underpins critical national services.

As the Transformation Lead, you'll act as the CEO's strategic partner driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and delivery of the organisation's long-term vision. You'll lead strategic planning and prioritisation across business-critical programmes, ensuring initiatives are executed efficiently and outcomes are measurable.

You'll be at the centre of decision-making: aligning teams, surfacing insights, removing roadblocks, and enabling transformation. Your work will span strategy execution, enterprise reporting, governance design, and performance improvement ultimately ensuring that leadership intent turns into tangible results across the organisation.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and sequence organisation-wide strategic priorities, balancing capacity, risk, and impact.
  • Drive strategic assurance and reporting, providing enterprise-level insight and ROI analysis.
  • Enable cross-functional collaboration to deliver transformation initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Optimise executive decision-making, governance, and communication frameworks.
  • Champion change management, culture evolution, and high-performance behaviours.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and Executive Team to shape future strategic direction.

What are we looking for from you?

  • 10+ years' experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success delivering cross-functional transformation within complex, technology-driven environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional communicator, facilitator, and problem-solver — able to influence at Board level.
  • Comfortable operating in high-trust, high-discretion environments.
  • Ideally educated to degree level (MBA preferred).

(Please note this is a Hybrid position with expected 20% in the office)
