Our Beach Hut Restaurant Supervisor role:

You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day to day running of the restaurant. You will also be required to Supervise the restaurant in the manager's absence ensuring that quality of operation, service and product reflects the company's brand and that service is run in a relaxed yet professional manner.

Staying true to its roots while embracing the new, the Beach Hut blends considered food, carefree beach dining, and a warm welcome. We showcase local, seasonal produce – combining classic favourites with lots of plant-based options for a sustainable take on the post-surf refuel.

As our Restaurant Supervisor you'll be:

• "Hands on" in your approach, being visible in your department as much as possible.
• Exceeding guest expectations at all times by supervising the restaurant in a relaxed but professional way.
• Dealing with guest complaints within the departments that may arise, both directly with the guest, and then also with follow up – re-training etc. as necessary.
• Representing our brand at all times.
• Ensuring that the correct standards are being adhered to in the restaurant.
• Work with the head chef and restaurant manager to improve all aspects of our food service
• Ordering stock to reflect the levels of trading and to be aware of the G.P. levels for Food and Beverage, and to investigate any discrepancies in the stock takes, to reach a satisfactory conclusion
• Assist in the ongoing training, development and performance management of a large team
• Help create a safe environment for both team and guests and adhere to the company's health and safety policy and procedures
• You'll need to develop a strong knowledge of our menus to confidently guide customer with their choices

The skills you'll be sharing with us:

• Supervisory experience as a minimum within in a similar setting
• Proven experience of supervising
• A good knowledge of customer care/ complaint handling
• Experience of cash handling
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to motivate and delegate
• Good communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in a busy environment
• A passion for providing the best customer service
• Confidence in dealing with staff and guests
• Care about our team and our environment

It would also be great if you have the following:

• Cocktail making experience and knowledge
• Wine and drinks knowledge
• Barista experience
• First Aid certification
• Health and Safety training
• Food hygiene
