Our family business, established in 1968, has been continuously tailoring its services to meet the ever-changing demands of our valued customers. We serve various clients, from small B&Bs to large hotel groups, with a focus on offering a hassle-free and labor-saving linen management service.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Transport Manager located in any of our sites at Cardiff, Pontypool or Pembroke with some work from home possible.
The Transport Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the transportation department, including fleet management, scheduling, and logistics. Responsibilities also include ensuring timely deliveries, on budget, while maintaining high standards of customer service, and communicating effectively with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Operations Management and Transportation Management skills
- Experience in Customer Service and effective Communication skills
- Fleet Management skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the laundry or hospitality industry is a plus
