Are you a dynamic Computing leader ready to drive digital innovation in an ambitious and forward-thinking school?

Prospect House School is seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Computing to join our senior team. In this pivotal role, you'll lead our Computing department, inspire pupils and staff, and help shape the future of digital learning across our school.

Your role will include:

  • Leading the Computing department and co-managing digital monitoring and filtering systems
  • Training staff in GDPR and effective digital technology use
  • Acting as a member of the DSL team, promoting digital safety and safeguarding
  • Setting up and maintaining systems such as ISAMs, Google Classrooms, and Google Drive
  • Preparing for ISEB and other computing examinations
  • Planning and delivering an exciting, future-ready Computing curriculum, including AI, coding, digital safety, and website design
  • Supporting Computing scholars and preparing pupils for competitions like the BEBRAS challenge
  • Ensuring staff across the school use VR, AI, QR codes, and other digital tools to enhance learning
