EYFS Teaching Assistant

Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Skelmersdale

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday – Friday (08.30am – 15.30pm)

Contract: Full Time

Pay: £ £108.54

We are seeking an experienced EYFS teaching assistant, The candidate must be passionate about education, have experience of supporting children from a range of backgrounds and have a child centred approach. They must also be enthusiastic, positive and dedicated. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher.
  • Hold a Level 2 In EYFS Practitioner Qualification.
  • Have at least two years' experience working within a Primary School.
  • Have experience leading 1:1 or group interventions.
  • Have experience delivering phonics schemes.
  • Have a good understanding of supporting SEN students.

- Supporting the child's learning and emotional development in and outside the classroom.

- Implementing tailored strategies to help manage behaviour effectively.

- Collaborating with the teaching staff and specialists to create a supportive learning environment.

- Show enthusiasm for subject matter and inspire students to learn.

- Address student questions and concerns with patience and empathy.

- Be flexible and willing to take on various tasks as needed.

- Encouraging positive social interactions and fostering the child's independence.

- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the child throughout the school day.

- Address behavioural issues promptly and constructively.

- Promote positive behaviour and model appropriate conduct.
