Are you a commercially sharp procurement professional with experience across direct commodities procurement? This is an opportunity to step into an impactful interim role where you will directly influence cost, supplier strategy, and programme delivery for a world-leading automotive innovator.

Working within a high-performance, engineering-led environment, you will support critical commodity areas: electronics, engineering and software. These roles suit procurement specialists who thrive on fast paced cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Deliver:

  • Developing and executing robust commodity strategies.
  • Managing cost claims, conducting cost breakdown analysis, and challenging suppliers.
  • Leading sourcing activity and market engagement.
  • Running electronics, engineering commodities and software package negotiations.
  • Overseeing contract terms negotiation and commercial structuring.
  • Ensuring day-to-day purchasing operations run smoothly via SAP and related systems.
  • Driving supplier performance to support cost, quality, and programme timing.

What You Bring:

  • Strong experience in direct procurement within automotive, aerospace, commodities or engineering-led manufacturing environments.
  • Confident operating in a fast-paced, engineering-centric organisation.
  • Immediately available or available at short notice (ideally under 1 month).
