team based in our
Plymouth office

About The Team
Our Plymouth office offers a dynamic base for delivering transformative projects across the UK and beyond. From this location, we've played a pivotal role in some of the UK's most forward-thinking infrastructure and development projects.
Some of our notable achievements include work on large-scale energy transmission projects, such as housing complex conversion equipment for new high-voltage direct current converter stations to transmit emission-free electricity. We also led the refurbishment and new-build extension of the Civic Centre in Trowbridge, modernizing the space while preserving its historical significance. Similarly, the Atlantic Village extension in Bideford showcases our ability to deliver large-scale retail and mixed-use developments, increasing the shopping centre's size by 70 percent.
About You
- You'll be joining a highly motivated and collaborative team of engineers who are passionate about delivering sustainable, innovative solutions and who genuinely enjoy what they do.
- You will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of mechanical design services on multi-disciplinary building projects. You will oversee the production of high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules.
- You will support the commercial success of your projects through timely invoicing, WIP management, and workload/resource planning.
- You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.

Requirements
You will be an experienced
Mechanical Engineer
with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:
- A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in mechanical engineering or building services.
- Chartered status or working towards it.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical or Senior Mechanical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both mechanical and M&E solutions across varied building sectors.
- Familiarity with BIM processes and tools including Revit.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams.
