Join Our Team as a Buyer at Arctiko

Arctiko, a renowned leader in providing innovative refrigeration solutions for healthcare providers worldwide, is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Buyer to join our UK arm. Based in Downton (and relocating to Salisbury shortly), you'll report directly to the Supply Chain Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring a smooth flow of parts throughout our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Efficiently order and schedule parts driven by the MRP system.
  • MRP Accuracy: Ensure the MRP system accurately reflects stock dates, locations, and quantities.
  • Supplier Coordination: Place purchase orders with suppliers and monitor their progress.
  • Shipping Arrangements: Coordinate the timely shipping of components to meet supplier demands.
  • Problem Solving: Locate hard-to-find parts within the supply chain.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Assist in negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs and terms.
  • Forecast Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to produce and communicate order forecasts to our suppliers.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: Up to £30,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
  • Working Hours - Option to Select: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm; Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Holidays: The starting entitlement is 22 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing each year to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays.
  • Sabbatical: Enjoy a one-month paid sabbatical after 6 years of service.
