The Role

We're seeking a professional and strategic Integrated Healthcare Manager to work in partnership with local Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across the full healthcare system, delivering evidence-based value propositions to drive awareness and adoption of our Urology portfolio and to support business revenue and market share objectives, all in-line with industry standards and organisational requirements. Taking full responsibility for your territory (including budget and resource management), you'll be given the autonomy to develop your portfolio by building appropriate business relationships with, and bringing together, key Primary and Secondary Care decision makers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to add value to the local health economy through tailored educational meetings and collaborative projects that align system, patient and Accord priorities.

To achieve this, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of our Urology portfolio (including speciality brand and biosimilar medicines), analyse the disease area market data and map your territory's Primary, Secondary and KOL stakeholders (including GP Clinical Directors, Consultants, non-medical Prescribers, Medicine Optimisation Leads) to develop strategic and effective account plans to maximise Sales and take advantage of positive Market Access areas. Establishing effective relationships with your stakeholders, you'll build a thorough understanding of each individuals' priorities, processes, business needs, drivers and barriers for product adoption (including optimising post formulary pull through in defined healthcare systems by delivering on collaborative projects which align system, patient and Accord priorities). To enable product uptake, you'll clearly communicate relevant scientific data, be this one-to-one with stakeholders, organising compliant speaker meetings or developing local / national KOLs. To ensure Commercial opportunities are optimised across the business, you'll work with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Business Info, Oncology KAMs) to share learnings, maintain product knowledge, participate in customer segmentation and targeting, and support relevant marketing initiatives (including congresses and exhibitions) to help shape Commercial objectives and ensure patients are supported effectively.

The Person

  • Significant experience in branded pharmaceutical Sales / KAM roles, including working in Hospital environments within Urology or Oncology disease areas.
  • Experience working across the full healthcare system, with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving NHS landscape and funding flows applicable to locally commissioned medicines.
  • Able to map and understand the role key stakeholders play in relation to influencing, decision making and funding of medicines across the healthcare system.
  • Experience of optimising formulary pull-through in defined healthcare systems by delivering collaborative projects which align system, patient and company priorities.
  • Established relationships with system-wide clinical decision makers, including Urology CRG Leads, Medicines Optimisation Leads and GP Clinical Directors.
  • Good experience in developing KOLs and arranging relevant educational meetings.
  • Strategic thinker with strong Commercial acumen; able to work cross-functionally and develop creative and effective Account plans that foster long-term partnerships with NHS stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), confident building relationships at all levels, utilising influencing and persuasion skills and navigating cultural differences.
  • Good project management skills – able to manage multiple workstreams to meet deadlines and maintain an eye for detail, even in a complex and fast-paced working environment.
  • Solid understanding of and qualification in the ABPI code and UK compliance frameworks.
  • Degree-level qualification beneficial, in a life science or business-related subject.
