This role will support the Senior Financial Controller across the full finance lifecycle, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting statutory and regulatory processes, and contributing to efficient financial operations. It offers an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to develop experience within a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and manage company credit cards.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with compiling regulatory returns.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Assist in payroll processing.
  • Maintain and manage fixed asset registers.
  • Support and respond to year-end financial audit queries.
  • Ensure adherence to FCA rules and regulations.
  • Comply with all internal policies, procedures, and financial controls.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in a bookkeeping, management accounting, or similar finance role.
  • A relevant undergraduate degree.
  • A recognised finance qualification or active progress towards one (e.g., AAT, part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong familiarity with financial systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and numerical capability.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
