Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Music Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidates will inspire students through engaging music lessons, fostering a love for music while developing their skills in performance, theory, and appreciation. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Teach music theory, instrumental techniques, and vocal skills.
  • Prepare students for performances, assessments, and examinations.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise school concerts, recitals, and other musical events to showcase student talent.
  • Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in music education and incorporate them into lessons.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Music Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience teaching music in a classroom setting or private lessons is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments or strong vocal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and composition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods.
