Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Door Entry Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Door Entry systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in Door Entry electrical work and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal applicant will possess practical experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems, ensuring efficient and reliable service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute projects accurately
- Perform routine maintenance on Door Entry systems to prevent future faults or failures
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference
Experience
- Proven experience working as an Door Entry Electrician within commercial or industrial settings
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc.
- Skilled in operating power tools including drills, saws, and testing equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety standards
- Previous experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of GDX door access systems with occasional other systems.
This role requires a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. An appropriate qualification in electrical installation or maintenance is required.

Pay: From £21.36 per hour
