Trainee Occupational Health Nurse

Contracted Hours: Permanent, 37.5 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday – Flexible Working Hours)

Location: Cambridge

** No OH experience required as my client is willing to provide full training providing you have been a Registered Nurse for a minimum of 2 years **

OH Talent Solutions are working with a valued client who are currently looking to recruit an Trainee Occupational Health Nurse We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Trainee Occupational Health Nurse to join a forward-thinking and innovative Occupational Health and Well-being team. You will contribute to the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service and play a key role with the ongoing development of the company and service provision to their clients. This role involves interaction with key clients and the successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the clinical delivery of OH services provided to their clients.

The Role:

You will undertake a range of services which include the following:

  • Complex Case Management.
  • Sickness Absence Management.
  • Health Surveillance. (Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision Tests, Skin Inspections & HAVS)
  • Pre-Employment Medicals, Assessments & Questionnaires.
  • Immunisation, Vaccination & Phlebotomy Programmes.
  • Health Promotion & Wellbeing Advice.

My client provides Occupational Health services to a number of small, medium and multinational sized clients, dependent on the needs of the business these services may be required on other sites across the region.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification. (Must have valid NMC pin with no restrictions or conditions)
  • Occupational Health qualification (Degree, Diploma or Certificate)
  • Able to work as an independent & autonomous Trainee Occupational Health Nurse.
  • A good team player who possesses effective communication & relationship building skills.
  • A pro-active & motivated person who endeavors all types of challenges.
  • A valid Full UK driving licence. (Desired but not essential)

  • Salary £30,000 - £36,000 per annum.
