Our Client,
a technology driven alternative investment manager, is looking to hire a senior hedge fund counsel to join the firm as no. 2 to the General Counsel in the Deputy General Counsel mandate.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and deeply capable in-house counsel with a strong track record in the alternative investments industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Broad ownership of trading, funds, regulatory issues
  • Day-to-day management and mentoring of less experienced qualified colleagues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ PQE
  • A strong practice background with a minimum of 5 years' experience in-house at a Tier 1 Financial Services organisation
  • A demonstrable track record at an elite multi-strategy, quantitative or macro hedge fund - at a senior level - mandatory
  • Strength in Funds and Regulatory Advisory OR Sales & Trading
  • Strong communication skills
