We're AmTrust International, an insurance business headquartered in London, with office across the UK and employing more than 1900 people in 13 countries.‌ As part of a global group, we work creatively to develop bespoke insurance solutions for leading financial institutions, retailers and manufacturers both internationally and globally.

We are currently looking for an Interim General Counsel to join our team as a maternity cover based out of our London office.

This leadership role will take responsibility for the provision of general legal and regulatory advisory and company secretarial support primarily for AmTrust's UK insurance companies, and of leading the legal team. A key component of the role will include participation as a member or attendee in relevant Board and other Committee meetings as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Lawyer with strong legal experience gained within a heavily regulated financial services environment, ideally general insurance.
