Food Technology Teacher – Outstanding School – Surrey

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey requires a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their well-resourced Design & Technology department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching primarily Key Stages 3 and 4. The school provides excellent facilities and is committed to high-quality practical education.

Responsibilities:

The appointed Food Technology Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire students and develop essential culinary skills. You will teach food science principles, nutrition, and healthy eating habits within a modern, well-equipped kitchen environment. Ensuring high standards of safety and hygiene, assessing student progress, providing effective feedback, and contributing to the Food Technology curriculum are key duties for this Food Technology Teacher role.

Requirements:

Candidates must be a qualified Food Technology Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree (e.g., Food Technology, Hospitality). Proven experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level is essential. Strong practical cookery skills, a passion for food and nutrition, and excellent classroom management skills are required. We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher.
