Conveyancing Paralegal – South Lanarkshire

Full-time | Office-based | Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (early finish Fridays)

Anderson Knight are delighted to be partnering with a well-established legal firm in
South Lanarkshire
to recruit a
Conveyancing Paralegal
. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and reputable practice, working within a friendly team environment where your experience and contribution will be truly valued.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with previous experience in
conveyancing
who can confidently manage transactions from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and progress property transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
  • Draft, review, and amend legal documents such as contracts, transfer forms, and deeds.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties to obtain required information and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Carry out property searches and due diligence to support transactions.
  • Prepare and submit documents for registration with the Land Registry.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client files, ensuring all records are kept up to date.
  • Support fee earners to meet deadlines and deliver a high-quality service.
  • Provide general administrative and paralegal support to the conveyancing team as required.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a
    Conveyancing Paralegal
    or in a similar legal support role.
  • A sound understanding of
    residential and/or commercial property law
    .
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively under pressure.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and familiarity with conveyancing software systems.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
