ABOUT THE ROLE

We are now looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented Accounts & Office Administrator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to play a key role in a busy and growing company.

The right person will support the smooth running of the office and keep our financial processes accurate and efficient. By managing day-to-day administration, maintaining clear records, and ensuring company bookkeeping is up to date, they will help the business operate at its best. Their proactive approach will ensure colleagues have the support they need, and that our clients and partners enjoy a consistently professional experience.

Normal working hours will be Monday to Thursday 0830 – 1700 and Friday 0830 – hours per week excluding breaks.

Salary Range £27,000 - £30,000.

JOB RESPONSILILITIES

·      Maintain accurate bookkeeping and ensure timely processing of accounting transactions, using QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting software to manage financial data efficiently.

·      Create quotes and invoices for customers.

·      Assist with month-end reconciliations.

·      Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.

·      Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly.

·      Provide general administrative support as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

· GCSEs (Grade C or above) including Maths and English (or equivalent)

·      One year's administrative experience

·      Strong organisational and administrative skills

·      Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles

·      Experience with QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting software

·      Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

·      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

DESIRABLE

·      Previous experience in a retail environment

·      Familiarity with preparing management reports
