Hours: 40 hours - required to be able to work until 6pm each day

Salary: £26,000-£28,500 - based on experience and qualification level

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, No Weekends

Main Duties:

• To plan and provide a caring and stimulating environment that is appropriate for individual children.
• To plan and prepare exciting play opportunities that meet the children's developmental needs.
• To establish and maintain positive relationships with the children and their families.
• To observe and assess children's development.
• Ensure the learning environment is clean and tidy.
• Supporting with nappy changing and toilet training.
• To work within the agreed framework of policies and procedures within the nursery.
• Ensure that all child protection policies and procedures are maintained.
• To be familiar with and comply to the nursery's health and safety requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Candidate must have a passion for childcare, engaging with each child and be able to work well within our team.
• Previous experience working with children as Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant, Nursery Nurse or similar.
• Ability to build trust and positive working relationships with colleagues and parents.
• Ability to use a variety of techniques to communicate with both children and adults clearly and successfully
• Strong Knowledge and understanding of Child Protection, Safeguarding, and the legislative requirements for working with children. (Training Available)
• Good/Fluent in English

The safeguarding of all our children is our highest priority and therefore a clear and valid DBS, as well as two references will be required from all successful candidates.
