As a conveyancing paralegal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Dealing with client (s), lender queries, and other parties involved in the transactions

· Keeping current clients updated as the matter progresses

· Providing quotes to potential clients

· Preparing contract packs for both sales and purchases in freehold and leasehold matters

· Undertaking source of funds checks - AML

· Applying and dealing with searches

· Preparing and submitting SDLT forms

· Dealing with Land registry applications and requisitions

· Preparing Report on title

· Preparing Redemption Statements/Mortgages

· Undertaking all tasks pertaining to Post Completion Matters

· At all adhering to compliance

Required Skills
:

● A minimum of 1 year experience working as a paralegal in Conveyancing

● Completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or is currently studying the LPC

● Good knowledge and understanding of Conveyancing

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

● Able to work without minimum supervision

● Ability to work under pressure

● IT literate

● Client care skills

There is an opportunity for a training contract 6-12 months after a successful period as a paralegal.
