Business Operations Manager

The Role

As we scale and systemise, we're looking for an Operations Strategist - someone who sees the gaps, builds the bridges, and turns chaos into clarity.

This is a hands-on, dynamic role that fuses operational rigour with creative agility. You'll be the anchor for "everything else" - Health & Safety, IT oversight, internal systems, infrastructure, data protection, compliance, and the everyday rhythm that makes our work possible.

You'll work closely with our new Studio Manager, forming a strategic duo between projects out the door and business behind the scenes.

You'll be part culture-builder, part problem-solver, and part conductor - ensuring our ambitions can actually function.

You'll also need to be a skilled communicator - someone who can work effectively across teams, translate between technical and non-technical colleagues, and make sure everyone has what they need to get things done.

What You'll be Doing

• Health & Safety Leadership - Lead our H&S culture, not just compliance. Embed good practice, delivery training that sticks, and become a key force in our mission to "never fall below" our values.
• Business Operations - Own the day to day running of our premises, policies, processes and systems. From kit to cleanliness, you'll ensure the environment supports our ambition.
• Systems & Technology - Oversee IT tools, suppliers, and systems. Help us scale smartly and build efficient, human-led processes using platforms like Notion and beyond.
• Culture & Consistency - Help define how we work - embedding clarity, accountability, and alignment into every system, policy, and cross functional handover.
• Compliance & Governance - Take ownership of DPO duties and GDPR policy, work with leadership on legal and insurance needs, and keep the business on solid ground.
• Change Projects - Lead or support internal improvement work - whether that's writing new processes, rolling out a new baton-based handover model, or helping implement our strategic plan.
• Team Enablement - Line manager support functions across facilities, IT, and admin. Set standards, build capability, and create follow-through.
• Leadership Partner - Report to and work closely with the SLT - bringing insight, surfacing risks, and helping us work smarter as we grow.

What We're Looking For

• A practical strategist - you think systematically, act independently, and make things happen
• A natural organiser - who spots gaps, clears blockers, and keeps a lot of plates spinning.
• A strong communicator who can work across technical and creative teams.
• Health & Safety competence, with the ability to lead cultural change.
• Comfortable with systems and digital tools - ideally Notion, or similar platforms.
• Experience in a creative or production-led environment is a plus - but attitude and curiosity matter most.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
