-THE ROLE;

  • As Showroom Manager, you'll be opening this brand new store in Central Milton Keynes, which manufacturers medium to high end upvc windows and doors.
  • As Showroom Manager, you will lead the showroom operations, ensuring that the team delivers an exceptional customer experience and achieves sales and margin targets.
  • You'll be responsible for hiring, developing and managing the showroom sales team, where you'll combine good leadership with a consultative sales approach.
  • You will oversee both showroom and home consultations, promoting the one stop supply and fit service to the general public.
  • You will drive showroom footfall growth and conversion from enquiries to confirmed projects and orders.
  • You will be responsible for all showroom operations including staffing, rotas, customer consultations and showroom presentation.
  • As Showroom Manager you'll ensure comprehensive product and technical knowledge across the team, including an understanding of relevant building regulations, performance standards and installation requirements.
  • The role will also involve measuring up at people's homes. as well as liaising with the installation team and marketing team.
  • The showroom will be open Monday to Saturday, but you'll work a 5 day per week and manage the staff rota.

- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

  • The successful candidate will ideally have sold windows and doors, or associated home improvement products to the general public and have worked in a showroom environment.
  • You'll have a proven track record of managing a sales focused showroom or retail sales team.
  • You'll be proficient with CRM and Digital sales tools, Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel.
  • You'll have a drivers licence as you will be visiting the customers homes to measure up.
  • You'll be organised, proactive and professional with a customer-first mindset.

  • Our client is a major manufacturer in the fenestration industry. This is an exciting opportunity to grow their upvc offering, with this new Milton Keynes showroom.

-THE REMUNERATION;

  • £45,000- £50,000 basic salary dependent on experience.
  • Bonus scheme which will be discussed at interview.
  • 26 days holiday, plus Bank holidays.
