The Opportunity
We're looking for someone who gets genuinely excited about podcasts — not just as content, but as powerful tools that build brands, spark conversations, and create real business impact.
Based in Bournemouth (with hybrid flexibility), you'll be the person our clients trust to turn their podcast ambitions into reality. You'll guide them from "we have an idea" all the way through to "we've just hit 10,000 downloads." And everything in between.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on creativity. You'll work with video editors, designers, and booking specialists to coordinate the moving parts, but you'll also be the one presenting insights to clients, shaping content direction, and making sure every episode actually matters.
If you love the idea of being equal parts strategist, project manager, and creative partner — this could be your role.
What You'll Actually DoBe the person clients rely on
You'll own the relationship with your portfolio of podcast clients. That means understanding what keeps them up at night, what success looks like for them, and how their podcast fits into the bigger picture. You'll build the kind of trust where they come to you first — not just when something's wrong, but when they're thinking about what's next.
You'll translate their goals into clear, actionable content strategies and help them see 6–12 months ahead with a show roadmap that evolves as they do.
Lead strategy that drives results
This isn't just "post the episode and hope for the best." You'll run regular strategy sessions and performance reviews, digging into what's working and what's not. You'll present insights that actually mean something and make recommendations that help shows grow.
Between meetings, you'll keep clients in the loop with thoughtful updates — not just status reports, but real communication about progress, ideas, and opportunities you've spotted.
And when you see a chance to do more — a new content format, a smart repurposing play, a complementary campaign — you'll bring it to the table.
Orchestrate production like a pro
You'll oversee the full production journey for multiple clients at once, making sure every episode goes from concept to published without a hitch.
That means working closely with our internal team — briefing editors, coordinating with designers, syncing with our booking leads — and making sure everyone knows what's happening when. You'll attend recordings (in person or remotely) to support hosts and guests, prep run sheets, and generally make sure sessions run smoothly.
You'll also review the supporting materials — show notes, blogs, graphics, promo assets — to ensure everything feels polished and on-brand before it goes out the door.
Then there's the distribution and promotion piece: you'll help develop plans to make sure each episode reaches the right people in the right places.
Manage projects without dropping balls
New podcast launches? You'll own the project plan — timelines, budgets, milestones — and make sure we deliver on time and on brief.
You'll track deliverables across accounts, monitor performance, and turn data into client-ready recommendations. And when challenges pop up (because they will), you'll anticipate them early and solve them smartly so nothing derails.
What We're Looking For
You've done account management before — ideally in a marketing, creative, or content production setting. You know what it takes to keep clients happy and projects moving.
You understand podcasting or digital content production. You don't need to be an audio engineer, but you should know how the pieces fit together and what good looks like.
You're exceptionally organised. Multiple clients, competing deadlines, lots of moving parts? You thrive in that environment rather than crumble under it.
You're a confident communicator and natural relationship-builder. Clients trust you. Teams enjoy working with you. You can present ideas, give feedback, and navigate tricky conversations with grace.
You think strategically but stay creative. You can connect a single episode idea back to a bigger business goal, and you get excited about storytelling, tone of voice, and the details that make content land.
You can write well and you care about getting the small stuff right.
Bonus points if you've worked with podcast analytics tools, hosting platforms, or production software (Adobe Audition, Descript, etc.) — but it's not a dealbreaker if you haven't.
What You'll Get
£29k–£35k depending on experience
— competitive and fair for the value you'll bring.
The chance to lead client podcasts that actually get listened to and make a difference to their businesses.
A team that's collaborative, creative, and supportive — we genuinely like working together.
Hybrid working based in Bournemouth.
Opportunities to grow your skills in account management, content strategy, and creative leadership.
The Reality Check
This isn't a sit-back-and-delegate kind of account management role. It's hands-on. You'll be in the weeds with the team, shaping ideas, reviewing edits, and making things happen. But you'll also be the strategic voice in the room, guiding direction and ensuring everything ladders up to client goals.
If that balance sounds exciting rather than exhausting — let's talk.
