ROLE: Front of House Receptionist
LOCATION: North Acton - 210 Western Avenue | W3 6FW
SALARY: £12.35 p/h
POSITION: Part-time (rotation Rota - AM: 07:00 to 15:00 and PM: 15:00 to 23:00) + extra hours on Christmas period.
2/3 days a week
3months of probation period
8 Hours shift
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and engage with all students and guests by maintaining a positive, professional, and friendly rapport.
Handle post and parcels for students efficiently and carefully, logging all 'signed for' deliveries and redirecting as appropriate.
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party contractors to ensure an excellent student experience.
Accurately process financial transactions including student billing, and petty cash.
Demonstrate initiative by taking ownership with limited and/ or remote management supervision.
Identify and escalate H&S hazards and incidents, document as appropriate.
Report maintenance and housekeeping tasks in a timely manner and follow up to ensure completion.
Complete general administrative duties allocated, including the preparation of detailed handovers for the incoming shift.
Input, maintain, and update student records accurately.
Ensure the circulation and distribution of relevant notices, letters, and information to all students.
Keep the reception desk and entrance lobby clean and tidy at all times.
Handle and log complaints professionally and compassionately, escalating to the Community Manager for resolution where appropriate.
A working knowledge of The Stay Clubs commitment to ANUK, National Code Assured Accommodation.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
2+ years of proven experience of delivering exceptional customer service
A pro-active approach to problem solving.
Highly organised with acute attention to detail.
A professional phone, email, and personal communications manner with a passion for excellent service.
Dependable, enthusiastic, and an excellent team player.
Competent with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new operating systems with ease.
The ability to work in a pressurized environment and maintain professional standards.
