Huffkins in John Lewis Oxford Street London , is recruiting one full time staff member, day time only, to join their experienced friendly team as a kitchen assistant.

This is a great position for people who have some experience in hospitality and especially those who enjoy assisting with all aspects of simple food preparation.

Our beautiful cafe on the fourth floor is looking for a well presented, reliable individual who enjoys team work and can prepare sandwiches, simple soups and a small range of light lunch time dishes.

We also assemble afternoon teas with ingredients from our own bakery.

30 to 35 hours a week to include weekdays and some weekends Shifts . No late nights but you should be free to work a variety of shifts Monday through Sundays , with two days off a week. Rotas are done well in advance.

Day time only, no early starts or late finishes.

HUFFKINS in is an award winning family owned British bakery cafe with 9 outlets in the Cotswolds and London.

Full training is given but experience and basic level 2 hygiene a distinct advantage.Preference is also for a candidate with a background in and enjoyment of, simple food preparation

The successful candidate will be interacting with other aspects of our food offer as well as helping with washing up and kitchen close down.

Full training given.
