Bee's Care Ltd is a Domiciliary care provider based in Peterborough and Huntingdon, we are looking for an experienced care assessor (driver essential) to support from the Huntingdon branch working as well as in the office in the areas of St Neots and when required Huntingdon, St Ives, Kimbolton and Great Stuaghton. Our aim is to provide high quality care based on the individual needs and preferences of the service user and we implement this using a person-centred approach. This job will have additional growth in the near future for the right candidate.
Experience and qualifications are always desirable, but for this role your personal values and attitude matter All mandatory training is offered within our company, and there are plenty of opportunities for additional and optional training also. WE ALSO PAY TRAVEL TIME AND MILEAGE
What do we require:
- You are a driver with a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle during the hours you work. (Essential)
- We do have service users with pets; all applicants should be aware that we cannot be selective of work, due to fear or dislike of pets (any allergies can be discussed, subject to medical evidence provided)
- Full time applicants are required to work either one day of the weekend, Saturday or Sunday, or can work alternative weekends (one weekend on one weekend off)
- NVQ's, Care Certificates and other training and qualifications are desirable.
Shift Patterns:
- Applicants must be flexible including mornings, evenings and weekends as well as rotational basis of On-Call covering that will be block paid on a weekly set fee.

Responsibilities:
For the Care Assessor role, you will be responsible to assist vulnerable people with their day-to-day activities, either they need assistance with personal care, their house chores or simply they need somebody to talk to. Our service users are so diverse, no day will be the same. Your support will make a huge difference in their lives, that's why this job is so rewarding We also offer our services to children, for whom all carers are trained to work with. You will also be required to work hours within the office setting auditing and writing care plans as well as travelling to meet new and current service users for assessments and reviews (full training will be given) You will be required to answer the phone when in the office and support day to day running. Office hours are part time with view to develop into more in the near future.
