At Climbing High Day Nurseries we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in our nursery, aged 6 months to 4 years.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, ensuring a balance between structured learning and free play.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating their achievements to parents or guardians.
  • Follow and implement safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • For qualified nursery practitioners: Possess a recognised early childhood education qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A caring and compassionate nature, with the ability to provide individualised support to each child.

This position is 42.5 hours a week Monday to Friday

Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check.
