Team Coordinator and Senior Administrator

The Department of Experimental Psychology has an exciting opportunity for a Team Coordinator and Senior Administrator to join the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O-CAP) research group.
This role is full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term for 18 months in the first instance and based within the Life and Mind Building.
The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative processes related to research projects (including clinical trials), funding applications, and compliance, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to regulations. The role involves coordinating activities and driving improvements in administrative procedures while collaborating with researchers, academic staff, and funding bodies to ensure efficient project execution and compliance. This includes contributing to the development and delivery of our national clinic.
About the department
The Department of Experimental Psychology is a large, internationally recognised department with a high volume of academic activity and a fast-paced, research-driven culture. The Department has recently moved to its new home in The Life and Mind Building. This exciting development provides exceptional research and teaching facilities along with space for public engagement and outreach. It also offers renewed commitment to work across disciplinary boundaries to further knowledge across the psychological and biological sciences and to solve major global challenges.
About you
You will have strong experience of working in administrative support roles, particularly within a research or academic setting, with a track record of managing complex projects and tasks. Also required is experience of facilitating clinical research/supporting a clinical research group, in particular in the delivery of multi-centre RCTs. The ability to build effective working relationships, manage a demanding workload and meet conflicting deadlines whilst maintain a high level of accuracy are also essential for this role. Previous experience of working in the NHS and/or engaging patients of NHS services would also be desirable.
