Summary
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Location Removals Ltd. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional moving services, ensuring that our clients' belongings are transported safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload household, office, and commercial items, ensuring all belongings are handled with care.
- Wrap, pack, and protect furniture and other items to prevent damage during transit.
- Carry out commercial deliveries efficiently and professionally.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring each customer's moving day runs smoothly and stress-free.
- Drive and operate removal vehicles across the UK, adhering to all road safety and company standards.
- Work as part of a team to plan and complete moves of varying sizes and complexities.
- High level of physical fitness, as this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Be flexible with working hours – no two days are the same, and shift times will vary depending on the location and schedule of collections and deliveries.
- Nights out may be required.
- Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a removals role.
- CSCS Card - Advantagious
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Previous experience within the removals sector
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
