Description

Are you a passionate and experienced kitchen professional looking to take on a leadership role? We are seeking a dynamic Kitchen Team Leader to support our Kitchen Supervisor in driving excellence across our kitchen operation.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, you will be key in fostering a motivated, productive, and high-performing kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to step up in their career, offering leadership, coaching, and a chance to make a real impact on the day-to-day running of Woody's kitchen.

Hours & Schedule:

  • Off-peak: 16.75 hours per week
  • Peak (school holidays): 23.25 hours per week
  • Includes alternate weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the kitchen team, providing direction, feedback, and training.
  • Ensure efficient and safe use of kitchen equipment.
  • Identify improvements in processes, waste management, and team collaboration.
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, portion control, and timeliness to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and wastage.
  • Assist with staff rotas and training to ensure the right people are in place.
  • Champion food safety, hygiene, and company values.
