The Programme Officer supports the operational transformation across SGN, ensuring delivery excellence through structured governance, risk management and performance tracking. The Programme Officer is central to enabling efficient, compliant and benefit-driven change across operational and corporate portfolios. You will be working closely with delivery teams to embed best practises and drive continuous improvement.

  • Maintaining governance and controls to ensure delivery rigour and compliance
  • Producing accurate and actionable reporting to support operational decision-making
  • Manage RAIDO registers to proactively address risks and dependencies
  • Drive continuous improvement in PMO Processes to enhance delivery
  • Partner with Project Manager to embed PMO tools and templates in daily delivery
  • Apply stage gate methodology to operational programmes and projects

What You Will Need

  • Degree in Business, Project Management or a similar related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Effective understanding of planning principles and project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, P3O preferred)
  • Proven experience with RAIDO management and portfolio controls
  • You have a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills with excellent data handling and reporting capabilities
  • You are an effective communicator, engaging delivery teams and various levels of stakeholders
  • Proficient with the O365 suite and with planning tools
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities
  • Familiarity with risk and dependency processes
