The shift pattern for these posts are - Rotational

An opportunity has arisen for Band 2 Health Care Support Workers within our Orthopaedic Elective/Trauma wards in RAH, Clyde & within Ward 21, 22, & 23 wards and ward 4 in RAH, Clyde.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HCSW with effective communication skills to join our friendly team. In return we offer on-going learning opportunities to support your learning and development.

You will be required to assist us in delivering a high standard of nursing care to a cohort group of Orthopaedic patient's for pre and post -operative scheduled surgery & medical patient's. These posts require candidates with problem solving skills and good listening skills and a compassionate nature. Evidence of Orthopaedic experience would be advantageous or any care setting.

We support a multi-disciplinary approach which includes nursing staff, consultants, and extended scope practitioners.

For Medical patients - Experience in Venepuncture, Cannulation, NEWS monitoring would be preferred, although training will be provided by our Practise Educators.
