Job Title: Classroom Tutor of Arboriculture

Salary: £30,537 - £33,365 per annum, pro rata
About Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a classroom tutor with a background in Forestry and Arboriculture to join our team here at our York campus. This role will be working part time, 14.8 hours per week.
We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the delivery of Planting aftercare, Tree Identification and Pruning, Woodland Habitat Management and Emergency Tree works. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in Arboriculture and/or further education would be crucial.
The successful candidate will deliver a range of units and levels across our provision theoretically, receiving high-quality teacher training and personal development opportunities.
Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, candidates should hold a teaching qualification. With excellent knowledge of both the theoretical elements of forestry and arboriculture. Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Gateshead.
