WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
We're looking for a product designer who's ready to drive exceptional digital experiences from idea to execution. In this role, you'll join our Next Generation Software Solutions (NGSS) team, where we build and support the digital tools Bain teams rely on to deliver results—faster and smarter.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll be part of the Design guild within Bain's NGSS team, which is focused on helping Bain's Industry and Capability Practices digitize their intellectual property. We do this through a diverse suite of tools, technologies, services, and support capabilities. You'll collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment that values curiosity, clarity, and design excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll bring structure and creativity to complex problems—translating ideas into prototypes, refining user experiences, and shaping solutions that scale.
Here's how you'll make an impact:
- Drive product design from discovery through delivery, using Figma to create high-quality, intuitive, and accessible designs.
- Partner with product and engineering throughout agile development cycles to ensure user needs and design intent are met.
- Lead user research efforts—conducting testing, analyzing feedback, and transforming insights into actionable requirements.
- Incorporate AI and automation where appropriate to improve product efficiency, experience, and outcomes.
- Advocate for inclusive, human-centered design practices and contribute to shared design systems, tools, and team rituals.
- Shape early product visions through workshops and stakeholder engagement, bringing clarity to complex opportunity spaces.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, communicates clearly, and brings a team-first mindset.
You'll succeed in this role if you have:
- 2–4 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or similar roles.
- Fluency in Figma and experience with modern design systems.
- Comfort working end-to-end—from research to wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- An understanding of how AI and automation can inform and enhance user workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—especially when working with technical and non-technical teammates alike.
- A track record of making thoughtful, data-informed design decisions.
WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world's best places to work. We are currently the #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor's Best Places to Work list and have maintained a spot in the top four on Glassdoor's list since its founding in 2009.
Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don't happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
