Entry level
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts including early shifts (7:00 am – 3:00 pm), long days (7am-8pm), late shifts (finishing up to 11:00 pm), nights (7.45pm – 7.15am) and weekend work.

About the Role

Are you looking to start a career in clinical research? We are seeking entry-level Clinical Technicians to join our team. No degree required—we value transferable skills from hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing roles where excellent communication and attention to detail are key.

This role involves supporting clinical trials by performing hands-on tasks such as collecting and processing samples, taking vital signs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and process biological samples (e.g., blood samples) in line with study protocols.
• Perform clinical procedures such as blood pressure checks, ECGs, spirometry, and other assessments (training provided).
• Ensure accurate completion of source data and quality control checks.
• Support clinical operations and assist with general clinic housekeeping tasks.
• Participate in Immediate Life Support (ILS) training and scenarios.
• Perform ad-hoc duties to support the needs of the business.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum GCSE in English and Maths.
• Strong customer service experience from hospitality, retail, or similar roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts including early mornings, long days, late evenings, and weekends.
• Immediate Life Support training is desirable (training can be provided).
