About the role
We're looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team in Shotts. In this role, you'll carry out safe and effective servicing, repairs, and maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs), ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
- Perform maintenance and repairs on cars, light commercial, and specialist vehicles to the highest standards.
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Work safely at all times, following company health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- High-quality workmanship and minimal vehicle downtime.
- Excellent MOT pass rates and zero customer complaints.
- Timely completion of tasks and positive customer feedback.
- Commitment to safety with zero accidents and proactive near-miss reporting.
Who we're looking for
Essential:
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification (or proven experience).
- Driving licence.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
- Customer-focused approach.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of electric/hybrid vehicles.
- Experience with specialist vehicles.
- Basic computer skills and strong awareness of health and safety are a must.
