Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Reporting to: Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Location: 622 Western Avenue London W3 0TF

Contract Type: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with the possibility of becoming permanent)

Hours: 32 hours per week, 4 days a week

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team at The Loomba Group Companies. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of stock within the warehouse, maintaining accuracy, and supporting the wider operational needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and preparing customer and store orders for dispatch.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and safely.
  • Ensuring all goods are handled with care and stored correctly.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment (general housekeeping).
  • Supporting the Logistics & Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Adhering to all company health and safety procedures at all times.

Candidate Requirements

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet operational deadlines.
  • Hardworking and capable of following instructions carefully.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods during the shift.
  • A positive attitude with a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
