Job Description:

Artek is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our logistics and operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse functions including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory management.
  • Ensure all goods are handled safely and stored according to company procedures.
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
  • Support other departments with material handling as required.

Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift moderate weights.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and dispatch systems.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Forklift or machinery operation certification (advantageous but not mandatory).
