We're seeking a talented
Finance Manager
to join a highly esteemed finance team in Harrogate to help deliver accurate financial reporting while turning data into insights that drive performance and growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a private equity backed, multi-site organisation where you'll play a key role in supporting business performance.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you'll work closely with senior leadership (Head of Finance, CFO and other stakeholders) across the business, ensuring the accuracy of financial systems and delivering timely, high-quality reporting. You'll also put your commercial mindset to work and contribute to strategic decision-making, process improvements, and business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reports
  • Lead on statutory accounts and support the external audit process
  • Drive improvements in reporting, systems, and controls
  • Deliver insightful analysis to support strategic and commercial decisions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to finance team members
  • Support business growth through acquisitions and integration projects

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA)
  • Strong background in finance, ideally with Big Four practice experience, (also open to experience outside of the big 4 firms)
  • Proven success in management accounting roles within complex organisations
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional, confident, and collaborative approach
