This is a hybrid position based in London.

The Role

In your role as Technical Manager, you will be responsible for strengthening the company's category, leading quality, developing and maintaining the quality management system (QMS) and risk management. You will nurture 3rd party manufacturing relationships and be responsible for the Stage and Gate process.

In this broad and stimulating role you'll be:

· Working on key projects across the business, including reviewing all technical and quality processes to ensure efficiency and standards are second to none

· Becoming the subject matter expert on relevant legislation to safeguard and support the business on pack information, marketing content, customer requirements and consumer led queries

· Managing and providing guidance to the Food Technologist by supporting them in day-to-day activities and allowing them to reach their full potential

· Manage existing co-manufacturing relationships, building strong, strategic partnerships

· Being the face of all technical and quality activity within the business, advising on technological changes in the food industry and identifying opportunities for developments

· Flexing your problem-solving skills to find solutions to any technical issues which arise and making improvements to current processes.

The Person

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Technical Manager for this role. Experience within a start-up, challenger brand or retailer business is essential. This is a broad role which would suit someone who wants to stretch their skillset and develop their knowledge with a growing brand.

A great relationship builder, you must have experience of dealing with stakeholders and 3rd party manufacturers. You will also have extensive experience in packaging artwork development & sign off.

Additionally, you'll be proactive and able to use your own initiative, think outside the box and consistently exceed high technical standards. You'll be passionate, bring heaps of energy and enthusiasm to the role along with an inquisitive and logical mind.
